Policies
Valley Performing Arts Ticketing Policies
Season Tickets
- Season tickets must be renewed by June 1 to retain prior seats.
- Season tickets may be purchased through December for the discounted rates.
- Season tickets will be processed in the order that they are received.
Refunds
- Valley Performing Arts does not give refunds for purchased tickets.
- Refunds are not issued for unused tickets.
No-Show Seating
- Valley Performing Arts has the right to resell any empty seats for a performance if the patron has not arrived by the show start. The patron is not entitled to a refund.
Exchanges
- Season Ticket holders can exchange tickets at least 24-hours prior to the performance date for a processing fee of $2.00 per ticket and the patron is required to return the exchanged ticket prior to the date of the show.
Late Seating
- Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance, as determined by the director and house manager.
Wheelchair access
- Valley Performing Arts has two wheelchair seats available that can be purchased through our box office.
Children
- All patrons, including children and babies, must have a ticket for admittance
- Parents with children crying during the performance need to move to the lobby for the courtesy of our other patrons.
Waiting List
- In the event of sold out performances, VPA offers a waiting list for patrons for any available no show seating.
- To be placed on the waiting list, potential patrons must show up one hour before the show.
- The ticketing agent will place your party on the waiting list, and if there are seats available five minutes prior to curtain we will seat the wait list.
- There is no guarantee that there will be seats available.
- There is no guarantee that the seats will be together.
- The waiting list lasts for one performance only, and a new list will be started for each performance.
Student Rush
- Student Rush tickets are available to students up through high school age with valid identification.
- Any available seats can be sold to students five minutes prior to show time at half the adult ticket price.
Valley Performing Arts Mobile Devices Policies
Policy:
Valley Performing Arts strives to create a positive theatre experience for both the patrons and the performers of the production. The sounds and lights of mobile devices are distracting to the audience and the actors.
Procedure:
The use of cellular phones, pagers, PDAs, and beepers during a performance is strictly prohibited at Valley Performing Arts. VPA has the right to ask any patron using such devices during a performance to leave the theatre.
